Auto Electrical Spares terms and conditions of sale .


Items purchased :

It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the items purchased are suitable for their chosen application .

Auto Electrical Spares take no responsibility or liability for misuse of the goods supplied .

The use of any goods purchased in Motor sport applications will void any warranties offered .

Prices :

Prices are liable to alteration without notice , and orders are accepted at prices ruling on the day of dispatch .

Prices are displayed in £ sterling and exclude VAT at the current rate of 20%


Damages , non delivery shortages and incorrect supply :

Non delivery must be reported in writing or e mail within 30 days of the date of the invoice  / order placed .

Any shortages or incorrectly supplied items must be reported in e mail within 14 days of receipt of goods notification outside of the 14 day time period will make any claim void .

Any item damaged in transit must be reported within 14 days of receipt of goods .

Liability :

Auto Electrical Spares shall be under no liability for any loss or damage arising resulting from the use of the goods supplied . The customer will indemnify the company in respect of any claim brought by a third party against the company in respect of such loss or damage , providing that nothing herein shall exclude any liability of the company where such exclusion of liability is prohibited , void , or unenforceable under English law .

 cancelled orders :

Any purchase order may be cancelled within 14 days of purchase and refunded in full including any original postage costs .

Unwanted goods / returns 

Any item may be returned within 30 days of receipt of goods for a full refund including any original delivery costs.

The item must be returned in re saleable condition with its original packaging unless faulty .
Auto Electrical Spares will not be liable for any return costs incurred . 
Unwanted or Cancelled Wholesale / Trade orders over a period of 14 days will be subject to a 20% restocking fee , this will be deducted from any refund paid.

Guarantee / Warranty :

All items are supplied with a 6 month ( 180 day ) guarantee . The manufacturers replacement guarantee starts from date of purchase not from date of installation or first use. Please contact us immediately if you believe that there is a warranty issue and a copy of your invoice is required to proceed any further. Please provide as much information as possible relating to the problem. You must return the defective part to us directly before any action can be taken.


In the majority of purchases, the warranty will not cover labour, failure of any related part or incorrect installation of the item, nor will the liability cover any costs in excess of the original part. Defective parts can only be exchanged and not refunded. Warranties are not transferable and do not affect your statutory consumer rights. Our warranty only covers the components in question and we will not be liable for any further costs involved in repairing the vehicle. No warranty claim will be upheld if the failure is caused by incorrect installation, misuse or failure of a related part.

Faulty Items :

Faulty goods must be reported to Auto Electrical Spares as soon as the fault occurs . The customer must arrange and pay for the return of these goods , items must be returned in original condition  . Any customer attempt to repair a faulty item before return will result in any warranty / guarantee offered by both Auto Electrical Spares and the product manufacturer null and void . Replacements will be issued as soon as it is confirmed the goods are faulty and any return costs refunded . Some goods may have to be sent to the supplier for testing and inspection , and could take up to 30 working days for faults to be confirmed.


If a replacement is required while the goods are being inspected , the customer must pay for the replacement part and shipping. Once the original goods have been confirmed as faulty, the customer will be refunded the cost of the original part and the shipping costs for the replacement .

Any item returned and found not to be faulty will be subject to a 20% restocking fee , this will be deducted from any refund given .
